Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply to the Next Gen Talent Collective ("NGTC", "we", "us") website, player applications, player profiles and events. By using the site or applying to an event you agree to them. If you are applying for a player under 18, you agree on the player's behalf as their parent or legal guardian.
1. Who can apply
Players aged 13 and over can apply for themselves. A parent or legal guardian must review and agree to the application of any player under 18. Players under 13 apply only through a parent or guardian and do not have an account of their own. Adults aged 18 and over agree for themselves.
2. Your account and your information
You must give accurate and complete information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity on your account. We use a one-time sign-in code sent to your email, so keep your email account secure. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
3. Applications and acceptance
Submitting an application does not guarantee a place. NGTC reviews applications and decides, at its discretion, who is accepted, waitlisted or declined, and may ask for more information. Payment is requested only after an application is approved. A place is confirmed when payment is received in full.
4. Fees and payment
Event fees are shown on the event page and in your payment request, in the local currency of the country where the event is held (Canadian dollars for an event in Canada). An early-bird price applies to payment requests issued by the date and time stated for it, and that deadline is firm and will not be extended. The price shown on your payment request is the price you pay. Payment is made by the method shown in your payment request, with the reference code included. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy for what happens if plans change.
5. Player profiles and visibility
A player profile is created only after the player is accepted and the player (or a parent or guardian for a player under 18) has chosen a visibility level: private, anyone with the link, or public. Profiles of players under 18 show the first name and last initial only. You can lower a profile's visibility at any time and it comes down immediately. Raising it takes effect when NGTC publishes the profile. Once a profile is published, changes to its public text are made by NGTC on request.
6. Photos, video and media
NGTC may photograph and film at events. How photos and video are used is governed by the consents given in the application. You must have the right to share any photo, video or text you give us, and it must not be unlawful, offensive or infringe anyone's rights.
7. Conduct
Players, families and visitors must behave respectfully toward other participants, staff, coaches and venue staff, and follow venue and safety rules. NGTC may remove a person from an event, or remove a profile or account, for conduct that is unsafe, abusive or against these terms. No refund is due where a person is removed for conduct.
8. Health, safety and risk
Soccer involves a risk of injury. Participants should be fit to play and should hold appropriate insurance. Event waivers are handled as part of the application consents. Please do not send medical details through this site or its messages.
9. Messages and email
We use your workspace and email to contact you about your application and events. Emails to you never contain your form answers or contact details: sign in to read more. Messages you send through the contact form are read by the NGTC team only.
10. Our content and your content
The NGTC name, logos and site content belong to NGTC or its licensors. You keep ownership of what you provide, and you give NGTC permission to use it as described in your consents and to operate the platform.
11. Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, NGTC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for events outside its reasonable control, and its total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the event concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any rights you have under Ontario consumer law.
12. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the version on this page is the one that applies. If we make a material change we will tell applicants whose events are still upcoming. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
13. Contact
